Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. After all, you're what makes all this happen. Learn more

TSM staff member apparent victim of hack

A member of Team SoloMid’s staff appears to have been the victim of a hack.

A lengthy batch of chat logs was released on the Internet last night, appearing to involve TSM’s players and members of the organization’s staff. It has not been confirmed what the nature of the logs are, but it seems Max Olivo, a content creator for the organization, was the person who was hacked.

The logs have not been verified, but a tweet from TSM general manager Leena Xu suggests they are real.

Olivo’s Twitter account seems to have been compromised as of late Wednesday night. The account was later wiped clean, and Olivo posted Thursday morning apologizing for being hacked.

We’re in the process of gathering more details and will update the story as we can.
