If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Worlds Quarterfinals edition

Chiu on This
A short and regular opinion blast from Stephen Chiu

The quarterfinals were pretty boring overall. I don’t care about whether or not Korea wins, it was jjust all 4 matches were stomps. Perhaps the best part about this was the new excuse that was made for Korean’s dominance in League.

First, it was overall players. Then it was infrastructure. The latest one is communications since so many players have now been exported and the West has significantly caught up to Korean infrastructure and in some cases exceeded it (Tigers last year comes to mind).

At some point people are going to have to admit that the Koreans are just good at this game without qualifications.
