ROX Tigers’ now ex-AD Carry Kim “PraY” Jong-in recounted his emotional final goodbyes from the gaming house during a stream on AfreecaTV.
Just as the ROX players’ departures might have caused many fans to cry out in shock and horror, PraY confessed that the journey home from the gaming house was difficult, captured in a Youtube video of the stream.
“I cried a lot,” he said. “I cried a lot in the car ride home. It’s kind of making me tear up just talking about this now, since it was really rough. My mom and dad would try to talk to me but I couldn’t reply because I was crying.”
He joked to the viewers that he “has a soft heart” and that he cries quite easily, “more so than people think.” It wasn’t only PraY who shed tears, but also the team manager Lee Sae-jin, who apparently couldn’t stop all the way to the car from the gaming house.
“I had this moment where I was super emotional, shut the door, turned around and then thought ‘I wonder what I ate today,’ and ‘I want to go sleep,’ and other fun thoughts like that,” PraY said. “The manager was crying the entire way to the car. I was even told that I was ‘a heartless guy’ on the way as well.”
The toughest moment to PraY was right before the departure, as he couldn’t help but get emotional before his stream viewers.
“The hardest thing was when the whole team got together on the first floor of the gaming house,” he recalled, just before hanging his head and temporarily turning off his camera.
It wasn’t all tears though, as his teammate Han “Peanut” Wang-ho entered PraY’s stream, PraY told his stream viewers that Peanut was allegedly asleep during the whole ordeal despite him “making a lot of noise looking for (his) suit,” with a broad smile on his face.
