ROX Tigers are taking player applications

ROX tigers mid laner Lindarang left Thursday's League Champions Korea (LCK) match because of an apparent illness.

The ROX Tigers are accepting player applications as part of their rebuilding process.

The Tigers made the open call announcement on their Facebook on Wednesday, saying that applications can be made either through a form or email. They also wrote that they will be accepting applications for all positions, and only Master Tier or higher ranked players who are able to stay in the gaming house are eligible.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the announcement is the timeframe of the entire process, which begins on the 30th of November and ends on the fourth of December. A surprisingly short amount of time, given that they have no confirmed players as of yet on their roster. The first layer of passing applicants will be announced on the fifth, with a secondary test taking place on the sixth and seventh.

Something else to consider is the fact that the ROX Tigers have accepted an invitation to IEM Gyeonggi, which starts on the 16th of December, less than two weeks away from their final choices for their open call for players.

There is currently no further news as to what ROX has planned for their roster for IEM Gyeonggi or the 2017 season.
