Slingshot Readers,

If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Cry and NoFe join EDward Gaming

China’s EDward Gaming confirmed that former ROX Tigers mid laner Hae “Cry” Seong-min and head coach Jeong “NoFe” No-chul have joined the team. Cry will be doing a role switch as the new AD Carry for EDG, while NoFe will continue his role as a head coach.

Cry has been on the ROX Tigers since the beginning the year. Although he saw little play during his time with ROX, he has been able to show decent mechanicsĀ and a talent in carrying in the late game. Before he signed with ROX, Cry was a streamer on AfreecaTV, and his main role was AD Carry. He will be filling in the large shoes of previous EDG AD Carry Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and has changed his name from Cry to Zet.

NoFe was known as the command tower of ROX and showed immense strategic ability with drafting that crippled the opponent or boosted his team. Previously a player for MVP Blue, he used his expertise to lead ROX into a League Champions Korea tournament victory and went to the semi finals of the 2016 world championship.

Cry will be joining Lee “Scout” Ye-chan, who previously played for SK Telecom. The full roster can be found on EDG’s official website.
