Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. After all, you're what makes all this happen. Learn more

ROX tigers mid laner Lindarang left Thursday's League Champions Korea (LCK) match because of an apparent illness.

The ROX Tigers announced Wednesday their 2017 season roster for League Champions Korea.

The new ROX will be primarily comprised of former Afreeca Freecs players with Heo “Lindarang” Man-heung in the top lane, Yoon “Seonghwan” Seong-hwan in the jungle, Son “Mickey” Young-min in the mid lane and Kwon “Sangyoon” Sang-yoon as the AD Carry.

Two of the six man roster weren’t part of Afreeca; Park “Shy” Sang-myun from CJ Entus, who will share the top lane with Lindarang, and Kim “Key” Han-gi will be the new support.

In a separate interview with Fomos’ Choi Min-suk, the new head coach of ROX Kang Hyun-jong said he and the organization “put our heads together to figure out the new roster,” and that they focused on the “synergy between ambitious new talent and more experienced players.”

ROX has been previously disqualified from competing in IEM Gyeonggi due to not having a roster ready, despite accepting the invitation.
