Dignitas announced Tuesday the addition of Jørgen “cromen” Robertsen and Jesper “tenzki” Mikalski as full-time starters to the organization’s Counter-Strike team.
The players filled in for the team as substitutes for a few weeks, and Dignitas qualified for the European Minor, which starts June 15 in Bucharest, Romania. Now their status on the team is official, as Dignitas has found replacements for Maikel “Maikelele” Bill and Faruk “Pita” Pita, who were kicked from the team at the beginning of the month.
“It is an honor to move into a starting position with a legendary organization like Team Dignitas and play alongside such experienced teammates. This is a perfect opportunity for me to show my potential to the team and the world,” cromen said in a statement. “Lately, our results have shown great improvement and we can be a top contender with more time to practice and synergize together. We are fortunate to have such incredible fans, leadership and sponsors supporting us.”
Morten “zEVES” Vollan also joined Dignitas as coach. He was previously on Norse until the team disbanded in April. Cromen also played previously for Norse. Tenzki played on Dignitas from October 2015 through last July. He most recently played for Rogue.
