Legendary Counter-Strike player Emil “HeatoN” Christensen will release his autobiography later this year.

HeatoN, known best for his time as  Counter-Strike 1.6 player with Ninjas in Pyjamas and SK Gaming, will release the book through Swedish publisher Lava Förlag. The book, which will be released on Sept. 12, will be titled “HeatoN – Livet på spel,” which roughly translates in English to “life on the line.” The book will go into his career and also the personal ups and downs he faced away from gaming.

HeatoN said on Twitter the book will be released in English and Swedish.

With HeatoN, NiP won multiple world championships in 1.6. HeatoN also played with SK Gaming for a two year stretch that resulted in four world championships from 202-04. After the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, HeatoN revived NiP and from an executive role put together a roster that won 87 matches in a row. Heaton is often celebrated beyond just his gaming career and has been responsible for much of NiP’s brand recognition.

In 2015, HeatoN was found guilty of “carelessness relating to accounting fraud” and was fined and sentenced to probation. He was inducted to the Esports Hall of Fame in 2016.
