KNg will trial for the team as a replacement for Lincoln “fnx” Lau, who was kicked from the team two weeks ago. KNg was one of the few options for the team, and others included K1ck player João “Horvy” Horvath, as was reported by multiple outlets. Ultimately, the team decided to go with kNg, the player with more experience and a readily available visa.
In the announcement, Immortals said kNg will join on a “trial” basis for the team’s upcoming events. He will be play on loan from Red Reserve and previously played with Immortals’ Lucas “steel” Lopes in team g3x in 2016.
Immortals’ first event with their new roster takes place next week at the Season 5 ESL Pro League Finals in Dallas, Texas.
