ROX Tigers’ Lindarang leaves LCK match with health concerns, coach later says he’s OK

ROX tigers mid laner Lindarang left Thursday's LCK match because of an apparent illness.
ROX tigers mid laner Lindarang left Thursday's League Champions Korea (LCK) match because of an apparent illness.

ROX Tigers top laner Heo “Lindarang” Man-heung missed Thursday’s League Champions Korea match because of health concerns his coach later clarified.

During ROX’s match against the Jin Air Green Wings on Thursday, Lindarang was replaced after Game 1 with Park “Shy” Sang-myun after Lindarang apparently talked about not feeling good, according to Daily eSports’ Lee Yun-ji. ROX lost the match 2-0.

After the match, ROX head coach Kang Hyun-jong said in a phone interview with Inven that Lindarang was feeling better.

“He’s feeling much better now,” he said. “There are no large problems. He showed symptoms that looked like slight spasms. I think he was very nervous and because he felt guilty to his teammates (after Game 1).”

Kang added that he will be visiting Lindarang in the hospital tomorrow to check up on him. The ROX Tigers are set to face Samsung Galaxy on Saturday for their second match of the season.
