Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. LDLC confirms acquisition of DEVIL

LDLC confirmed the signing of DEVIL to its Counter-Strike team on Friday.
LDLC confirmed the signing of DEVIL to its Counter-Strike team on Friday.

LDLC has confirmed the acquisition of Timothée “DEVIL” Demolon a day after news broke of his signing.

LDLC announed Friday the signing of DEVIL, confirming a Flickshot report from Thursday. DEVIL has rejoined his former team after playing with other teams such as EnVyUs and MaxiSaucisse. Valentin “mistou” Balbastro will be benched to make room for DEVIL.

“Our goals are very ambitious and recent results have sometimes been disappointing, though we have done great performances in EPL and haven’t been ridiculous at the Minor,” team captain Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans said in a statement. “But not to mention results, we felt we needed a change to allow us to go one step further. Mistou gave a lot to the team and he allowed us to move forward and we can thank him for that, but he missed a little something. I hope he finds it in the future.”

LDLC finished 11th of 12 teams in Europe in Season 5 of the ESL Pro League and most recently failed to reach the semifinals of the PGL European Minor, being unable to qualify for the offline qualifier for the 2017 PGL Major in Krakow, Poland.
