If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Jean-Victor “Loulex” Burgevin has joined Cloud9‘s League of Legends roster as a positional coach and substitute.

Cloud9 announced Sunday through their its YouTube channel that the team will enlist Loulex as a positional coach. In the video, Loulex explains that he will be mostly watching scrims with head coach Bok “Reapered” Han-kyu and giving the players advice on what they could be doing better.

“I think the main goal is to have the team go to worlds this split,” he said. “So far I think they’re 3-3 or something, so it’s not going as good as I want to, I think. If we can do that, then getting out of groups at worlds would be really good.”

Loulex has only recently joined the team, as he said that it has only been five or six days since his involvement began. But he also expressed his satisfaction with joining the team, saying that he’s “already feeling like I’m at home.”

Loulex is a veteran jungler and has played for a handful of European League of Legends Championship Series teams since 2014. He was a part of Ninjas in Pyjamas, H2K, Unicorns of Love, and FC Schalke until he signed on as a jungler sub for G2 Esports earlier in the split. This will be Loulex’s first positional coaching position, and it seems unlikely he will be subbed in as the team’s jungler this split.
