SKT defeated KT Rolster in a close 2-1 victory Tuesday that featured some nail-biting games for fans of both teams. SKT’s latest addition Untara subbed for Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon in Games 2 and 3, maintaining his undefeated streak, but in an interview with Daily eSports’ Nam Yoon-sung, he said in hindsight, they weren’t all good games.
“Recently when I watch my matches, there are many games I shouldn’t have won,” he said “It’s thanks to the help of my teammates. As I played many games, I’m starting to realize many things about champions. There is a way to manage the game depending on what champion I go up against, and I’m learning how to do so.”
Game 2 was a particularly close call for SKT, as KT was in firm control of the early game and on the brink of earning a 2-0 won. SKT managed to flip the tables with intelligent team fighting, and according to Untara, the team “talked about how we could take the game back with one fight,” which is exactly what happened.
As a final comment, Untara talked about the team’s atmosphere after the latest victory and what he expects of himself in the coming weeks.
“The team atmosphere is great,” he said. “I’m thankful that I have won all of my games. I think I need to work harder because I don’t think my game play is that great.”
