After the European League of Legends Championship Series stayed in its home country this spring, the EU LCS summer finals will take place in Paris, France.

Riot Games announced Wednesday the EU LCS summer finals will take place in the Accor Hotels Arena in Paris. The finals are scheduled to take place Sept. 2-3, and tickets will go on sale Friday.

The winner of the summer split will be the first European team to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship this year in China. Second place will get 90 circuit points, third place 70, and fourth place will get 50. The second European seed for the worlds group stage will be determined based on circuit points, with the third highest team making it into the play-in stage.

Fnatic is sitting at first place of Group A, while the Unicorns of Love are at the top of Group B. The top three teams of each group will proceed to the playoffs, with the first place teams getting a bye from the first round of the playoffs.

In terms of Circuit Points, G2 Esports, which won the spring split, is at the head with 90. Unicorns of Love have 70, and Fnatic has 50.

The EU LCS announcement comes after Riot announced the North American summer finals would take place at the TD Garden in Boston.
