North American League of Legends powerhouse Team SoloMid announced Friday that it is recruiting members for an academy team through its official website.

According to the announcement the team is looking for players in every position with players who “demonstrate exceptional skill” can have a chance to be added to the main roster as a substitute.

This isn’t a surprise, as the upcoming North American 2018 LCS season will have teams stay on as franchised partners with academy teams that will compete in the Academy League, which will replace the Challenger League. The purpose of the academy teams look like they will be vehicles for teams to rear and develop talent within its own region.

TSM is considered one of North America’s best League of Legends team, and a finalist of every NA LCS since the inception of the league, and has qualified for all six world championships so far. TSM has previously held a challenger team as well, named TSM Darkness, although it dropped its sponsorship of the roster following an incident of the AD Carry David “t3azer” Bérubé leaking videos of scrims to other teams.

Prospective members should be at least Challenger in the North American, European, or Korean servers. must be proficient in English for the sake of communication, and must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles if necessary.
