Team SoloMid signed Rasmus “MrRallez” Skinneholmr to be its substitute AD Carry after negotiating a buyout with Fnatic, the teams announced Wednesday.

“We have nothing but appreciation for Rasmus’s efforts, both in Fnatic Academy’s Challenger Series triumph and also in aiding our LCS roster’s efforts in Berlin,” according to a statement on Fnatic’s website. “We’ve no doubt that he will be a success in North America and wish him all the very best.”

TSM welcomed MrRallez through a YouTube video a few hours after another video documented MrRallez’s trial period with the team last month.

TSM owner Andy “Reginald” Dinh said in the initial video he was in negotiations with Fnatic to acquire MrRallez, who was still under contract with Fnatic.

As a part of Fnatic Academy, MrRallez played a part in promoting the team to the European League of Legends Championship Series during the summer promotional tournament. The LCS spot was later sold to Ninjas in Pyjamas, and MrRallez hasn’t played for the organization after the sale.

MrRallez is a veteran player from Europe whose experience stretches back to Season 2. He is expected to be the backup for starting AD Carry Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, after Jason “WildTurtle” Tran transferred to FlyQuest before the start of the North American League Championship Series summer split. MrRallez will join the second place NA LCS team, as TSM has a record of 10-4, one game behind first place Immortals, with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
