Syndra, Orianna, and Taliyah receive more changes in League of Legends PBE

More changes for Syndra, Orianna and Taliyah could soon becoming to League of Legends, as Friday’s PBE update seems to focus on scaling back mid lane champions a bit.

The mana cost of Taliyah’s Q initially went up from the live value, but it was increased by 10 more mana at all ranks. As the Q is her main wave clear and harassment tool, the higher mana cost will most likely affect Taliyah’s early game, especially if their junglers don’t give them Blue Buff.

Leblanc also received a further nerf on her Q, which does less damage to minions now. It’s down to 50 percent and will also impact her wave clear and farming in the early game, giving her less lane dominance.

Instead of changing the base amount of damage Syndra’s ultimate does and how much damage each sphere does, the AP ratio value per sphere went down a couple of percentage points. This will change the damage output of Syndra in the late game, as she’s quite famous for deleting enemy champions with a single ultimate cast.

Orianna also had one of her changes from a previous PBE update reverted. Her base damage on her W was lowered at all ranks by 20.

Caitlyn’s traps hold people still for a lot less amount of time

Caitlyn’s W, Yordle Snap Trap, now holds enemy champions for a shorter period of time. It was initially two seconds at all ranks, and now it lasts from 0.9 seconds to 1.5 seconds based on rank. Caitlyn users will be upset to find that the traps last shorter in lane, but the effect it has on empowering the next auto-attack on previously trapped targets will likely stay the same. So it won’t be all bad.

One of Faker’s favorites gets nerfed

Cassiopeia, one of the go-to champions for Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok in professional play, received a nerf. Like Taliyah, her E received a higher mana cost. This is her main tool for harass against enemy champions, so her early game damage output might take a downturn.

Galio is a bit too fast with his ultimate

Galio had his ultimate’s cool down timer increased at ranks one and two, and the reduction of damage taken by allies in the area of effect is now set at 20 percent at all ranks, instead of getting steadily better. This serves to reduce the frequency of the ult in the early to mid game, and also the late game damage reduction that it offers/

Fizz got a change in buffs

Fizz’s buff from the PBE update on Thursday that reduce the cool down time on his Q, it moved to his E at all levels. The cool down timer is still quite long at 13 seconds at rank one, but is also one of the chief abilities that gives Fizz a brief moment of being untargetable and allowing him to jump over walls. It’ll be a late game tweak if anything else.
