Lowel also posted on Twitlonger and said “news about my future will come soon.”
The release comes amid what has largely been a successful revival for Mouz after the departure of Nikola “NiKo” Kovac. The team had a semifinal appearance at DreamHack Tours and a playoff appearance at the ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals before qualifying for the PGL Krakow Major. But group stage exits at ESL One Cologne and the Major were not favorable, in spite of the surge the addition of Robin “ropz” Kool in April provided the team.
According to a report by Flickshot, mousesports could replace loWel and Denis “denis” Howell with Martin “STYKO” Styk from HellRaisers and Miikka “suNny” Kemppi from PENTA.
LoWel has been part of nine different teams before mousesports. The rest of the Mouz roster consists of ropz, Chris “chrisj” de Jong and Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný.
