KheZu and MP depart Team Secret’s active Dota 2 roster

MP and KheZu are no longer part of Team Secret's active roster.
Team Secret made roster changes in Dota 2.

Team Secret announced Monday that Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann and Pyo “MP” No-ah will step down from the team’s Dota 2 roster.

“As of today Maurice ‘KheZu’ Gutmann and Noa ‘MP’ Pyo will be stepping down from the active team,” the announcement reads. “A huge thank you to both Maurice and Noa for their invaluable contribution to the team. It has been a pleasure and we wish them the very best of luck moving forward.

The decision comes after a rather disappointing showing by Team Secret at The International 7. Team Secret landed in the lower bracket of the main event after placing fifth in Group A and was eliminated by Team Liquid.

MP joined Secret last August after TI6, following a deep run with Korean team MVP Phoenix. KheZu joined in November after playing for Escape Gaming. Team Secret had a difficult year at times, failing to make the playoffs of the Kiev Major, but it rebounded with a second place showing at The Summit 7, a third place finish in DreamLeague Season 7 and qualifying for TI7.

The remaining players are Nai Zheng “MidOne” Yeik, Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat and Clement “Puppey” Ivanov.
