ROX Tigers nab sponsorship from Corsair

The ROX Tigers announced Friday the organization has acquired a sponsorship with Corsair, a popular PC gaming hardware company.

“I am very happy that we have entered a partnership with Corsiar,” said Nam Goong-il, executive director of the ROX Tigers, in a news release. “We are very familiar with the passion and hard work Corsair puts into its gaming products, so I’m proud that our team will be part of spreading Corsair’s reputation. The ROX Tigers team knows how important gaming gear is for players, and thus have chosen to use Corsair products, and we support and believe in the bright future Corsair will have in the future of the esports industry.”

The ROX Tigers will exclusively use Corsair brand keyboards, mice, and mouse pads, and Corsair will aiming to use this partnership as a way to enter the Korean gaming market. The North American computer peripheral company is most well known for its keyboards and mice, and it also creates other PC hardware products such as solid state drives, CPU cooling systems, memory modules, and more.

The ROX Tigers placed sixth in the sprint split and seventh in the summer split of League Champions Korea, one year after a wildly popular roster and perennial world championship contender disbanded.
