If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. RFRSH Entertainment confirmed Monday the acquisition of Dennis “dennis” Edman to Godsent‘s Counter-Strike roster to replace Jonas “lekr0” Olofsson, who will join Fnatic. Markus “pronax” Wallsten will also step down from Godsent, and and Jacob “pyth” Mourujärvi will replace him temporarily for ESL Pro League matches.

As Slingshot reported Sunday, Dennis and lekrO will swap, ending Dennis’ almost two years on Fnatic. He joined the team in November 2015 and was part of the dominant lineup that won six consecutive LANs leading up to the MLG Columbus Major last year. That team split up last August, reformed in January, but could not replicate its past successes, failing to win a tournament.

Pronax, another former Fnatic member, helped co-found Godsent and will now step away. Pyth will be used in the short term (only for the EPL), and a permanent substitute will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a news release.

“Poor performance and continuous struggles to find common ground within the team made it evident for all of us that a change had to happen,” pronax said in a statement.

RFRSH also announced Alexander “rdl” Redl will leave the team at the end of the month to explore other opportunities. The rest of the Godsent roster consists of Simon “twist” Eliasson, Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun and Andreas “znajder” Lindberg.
