Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Splash art for the new Eternum Cassiopeia skin was revealed in Wednesday’s update to the League of Legends Public Beta Environment.

The new Cassiopeia skin (pictured above) is a continuation of the Eternum skin line, which was released with Nocturne first as a Legendary skin in December 2012 that cost 1,820 Riot Points (about $14). Since then, Eternum Rek’sai was added to the skin line for 1,350 RP ($10). The skins have the same theme of mechanical entities with an emphasis on the color red when using its abilities. All Eternum skins have had unique recalls, visuals, and spell effects.

Emotes update

A few chat strings relating to the new Emotes feature have been added to the game. The two strings make reference to “game quests,” and that players can access the new emotes wheel through the default key binding on the “T” key. The Emote Wheel hasn’t been added to the PBE yet, but it will soon, as it has been ready for play testing for some time.

Each player will get access to an emote wheel, just like the one with pings, where they will have access to five different emotes. The emotes can be changed outside of the game to add further customization options for the players, which will give players a variety from which to choose.

No balance changes

There were no balance or item changes in Wednesday’s update.
