League of Legends‘ newest champion Ornn was apparently looking so bad, Riot Games hotfixed a number of buffs for the champion on Friday, two days after the patch that added him went live.

Ornn is currently suffering heavily, unable to pull out enough wins where players would call him balanced. As such Riot hit him with a number of buffs on Friday in an attempt to breathe life into him. His health growth stat was increased to 90, his base health regeneration increased to 9, his base health regeneration growth was increased to 0.8, his attack speed growth was increased to two percent, and his ultimate’s cool down time was reduced at all ranks.

However it seems like the buffs have done little to help the demigod. According to data from players of at least Platinum rank in the Korean server collected by op.gg, Ornn currently has a win rate of 33.92 percent as a top laner, which he was designed to occupy. His off-lane roles such as jungler and support aren’t looking any better, with win rates of 32.35 and 31.69 percent respectively.

Along with some buffs to Ornn was a revert to the item Gargoyle Stoneplate, which was bugged in the previous patch. When used with the Cinderhulk jungle item enchantment, the active component of the item would give more health than intended, which patch 7.17 sought to correct. However the fix had a bad reaction with the champion Kled.

As such the team will be reverting the item back to its state in patch 7.16┬ásince the team will be working on a fix in the next suite of changes but can’t leave Kled disabled until the fix is in place.
