Fans of League of Legends’ popular Star Guardian line will soon be able to buy merchandise featuring the group of champions.
The Riot Games Merchandise Facebook page announced Wednesday the Star Guardian product collection will be available for purchase starting Sept. 7. The collection will include a set of mini figurines for the first five Star Guardians: Lux, Poppy, Lulu, Janna, and Jinx. To celebrate the launch, a limited edition Star Guardian Ahri mini figure will also be available.
The mini figurines of the first five Star Guardians have already been available for purchase from Riot Games China’s merchandise website. Rioter RiotBradmore added later in a reddit thread that the figurines would see release dates in other parts of the world.
Along with new particle effects, custom recalls, and sound effects, the first Star Guardian expansion also had a 3D music video in both English and Japanese. There was also an online quiz that players could take, which unlocked a summoner icon upon completion. The skins are heavily influenced by the designs of Japan’s magical girl genre of anime and was originally just a skin for the champion Lux.
Riot revealed a new Star Guardian skin line earlier this month, with Syndra, Ezreal, Soraka, Miss Fortune, and Ahri. The new skins look like they share the high production quality of the first batch and have since gone live. Along with the new skins came a new game mode called Invasion, where five players will play in cooperation as the Star Guardian.
