As Ornn, the newest League of Legends champion, continues to struggle to secure a decent win rate, Riot Games has given him another set of buffs as a mid-patch hotfix.

Most of the buffs came from the Public Beta Environment update two days before the changes went live. His pillar that spawns with his Q now spawns more quickly, and the pillar now displaces enemy champions like Trundle’s own. The length of his W has increased from 500 to 550, but the movement speed reduction while the W is active was reduced from 65 to 50 percent. Ornn’s E no longer knocks back opponents when Ornn charges through them.

The only buff that didn’t go through to the live patch is the maximum movement speed increase on his ultimate, which makes his summoned fire elemental trample opponents more efficiently.

Ornn has been buffed three times, two of them hotfixes. The first hotfix was applied two days after his release, which boosted a lot of his base stats. Riot has explored the potential reasons behind Ornn’s continued struggles, even pointing to a tendency of Ornn’s allies making poor itemization choices in order to rush the item upgrades that Ornn provides for his team.

Ornn is still under 40 percent in terms of win rate in the top lane according to, which is his primary role. His win rates in his off roles such as jungler and support are even worse, with 35.39 percent and 33.8 percent, respectively.
