This marks the first time that FIFA has ever added jerseys to its FIFA game outside of those from traditional soccer teams. The jerseys will be added to the Ultimate Team game mode when the game is released Sept. 29.
FIFA’s Ultimate Team mode has been a staple of FIFA games since 2009, which allows players to buy card packs that have a random chance of giving players rare player cards. These cards are then used to create their own “Ultimate Team” which can then be used to play against other players’ teams in a ranked ladder.
Hashtag United F.C. is the only organization in the group that only competes in FIFA, and it began as an English YouTube-based football club that expanded into the professional FIFA scene.
