Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. The experiment to Malphite‘s W and how it interacts with his passive from a previous patch cycle is back to League of Legends’ Public Beta Environment.

The passive portion of the W will triple bonus armor value of Malphite when his champion passive — which gives him a shield when he doesn’t receive damage for a period of time — is back, but the bonus armor increase was lowered by 5 percent at all ranks, scaling from 10 to 30 percent.

The new change for Patch 7.19 is right on schedule, as the previous changes from 7.17 were pushed back as the champion was “performing OK already,” according to an Aug. 22 dev corner post. Some of the other changes for his Q and E in past iterations have not been implemented as of yet, but the PBE is always subject to change.

Caitlyn’s passive trigger reverted

This was apparently missed Thursday, but the number of auto attacks needed to trigger Caitlyn‘s passive have been reverted to six attacks from eight.

Janna gets small tweak

The auto attack delay for Janna was lowered to 0.08 seconds, which means her auto attacks will be a but smoother.

Veigar gets more tweaks

Following a change to his W on Thursday, Veigar had some more of his base stats tweaked. His base HP regeneration increased to 1.3, his attack range was increased to 550, and his HP regeneration per level increased to 0.12.

Bramble Vest item line adjusted

The price for Bramble Vest increased to 1,200 gold, with a 300 gold increase to the combine cost. The armor value also went up to 40 from 35. The item that the Bramble Vest builds into, Thornmail, got a lower combine cost to 300 and an armor increase to 80 from 75.
