The ROX Orcas disbanded.

The ROX Orcas, a Korean Overwatch team, announced Sunday the team has disbanded, and the players will become free agents.

“The team has been in talks with the players regarding their futures and team management since before APEX Season 4, and we have come the the decision to make this public post after concluding all of our games as the team didn’t want to deny the players the opportunity to compete in APEX after a year’s worth of hard work in APEX Challengers,” the announcement reads.

As part of expansion of OGN APEX Season 4, ROX was one of five teams added to the league from APEX Challengers. Right before the season began, the team signed Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon, the first woman to play in APEX. ROX Orcas struggled mightily in Group C of APEX, though, going 0-3 and finishing last in the group.

According to Sunday’s announcement, the team will undergo a rebuilding process and promised the keep the fans updated with any news about the organization in the future.
