Riot Games has temporarily disabled Your Shop, as it tries to find a solution for a problem that has arisen for players in the client.
Your Shop is a regular feature for the game, tailored for each player and gives discounts ranging from 20 to 70 percent for skins of the players’ most often played champions. Each player gets a random choice of six skins which includes a chance for players to get discounted access to legacy skins that aren’t available in the store as well, although Ultimate, Legendary, Limited, Loot-exclusive, and relatively new skins released in the past three months won’t be included.
Apparently there have been cases where players are getting the same random skin discounts for champions they don’t play as or having cases where the prices of the skins are higher than they are in the store, leading to many disgruntled players.
Riot has been made aware of the situation, and have disabled Your Shop for the time being in order to fix the known issues. The skin choices that players have seen will be reset as a result, so all players will be able to get the right random skins for the champions they actually play with the proper discounts.
Riot didn’t clarify when Your Shop will be enabled again, and is still disabled as the time of writing. The shop was supposed to start on Monday and last until Oct. 3 11:59 PM Pacific, and it’s unknown if the shop’s duration will be extended as a result of this issue. The previous Your Shop lasted from May 18 to June 6.
UPDATE (5:32 PM EST): The issue has been fixed, and players will have a fresh new set of skins for Your Store.
