PSG signs Rocket League team

The esports branch of the European soccer club Paris Saint-GermainĀ (PSG) announced Friday that it has entered professional Rocket League.

The players, Dan “Bluey” Bluett,Ā Thibault “Chausette45” Grzesiak, andĀ Victor “Ferra” Francal, were previously known as the European team Frontline. The team qualifiedĀ for Season 4 of the Rocket League Championship Series through the play-in tournament and will continue to compete in the league as PSG Esports.

PSG has first jumped into esports last October, as it purchasedĀ the European League of Legends Challenger Series team Huma. It since expanded into FIFA by signingĀ August “Agge” Rosenmeier andĀ Lucas ‘Daxe’ Cuillerier.

The new PSG rosterĀ sits inĀ second place with a 4-0 recordĀ to begin the RLCS season in Europe. TheĀ team will next play Sunday against exceL and Method.
