Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. After all, you're what makes all this happen. Learn more

The health bar in League of Legends will soon be improved, according to Friday’s dev corner post from Riot Games’ Andrei “Meddler” van Roon.

“Some of the changes will be more subtle stuff like making it a bit easier to tell how much damage you just took/dealt based off how the bar updates,” he wrote. “Other changes will be more explicit like adding a clearer visualization for champs with resurrection effects available (Zac, Anivia, GA etc) so that figuring out whether someone will respawn or not doesn’t have to involve digging through a bunch of icons on the buffbar.”

A large list of item tweaks are on the way

For the past week, all of the champions in League of Legends have received small statistical tweaks in anticipation of the new rune system. As the way runes function will move away from giving stat boosts to more tangible effects, the adjustments are supposed to put champions back in line. Now the items that alter magic penetration and lethality are next in line.

Patch 7.21 will be light

League of Legends Patch 7.21 will only have a small number of adjustments because Patch 7.22 is going to be a massive one.
