Nam “LirA” Tae-yoo, jungler for Team EnVyUs this year, wrote on Facebook (and then deleted) he was looking for a new team, citing uncertainties with EnVy’s status in the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS).
According to a screenshot of the post taken by Inven Global, LirA wrote that his team is currently uncertain if it will be able to come back in 2018, and he is looking for a new team.
“As whether the team will be joining next year’s LCS is currently uncertain, the owner of EnVy has allowed me to get into contact other teams,” he wrote. “Thus I am currently looking for a new team.”
The post came after EnVyUs’ application for the NA LCS was reportedly rejected. LirA made a large splash in the NA LCS with his carrying performances for EnVy, quickly becoming one of the best junglers of the summer split. LirA started his career with Chunnam Techno University in 2013 and has also played for KT Rolster Arrows, CJ Entus Frost, Oh My God, and the Afreeca Freecs.
