KT Rolster confirmed on Monday it will not resign its top laner Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho and mid laner Song “Fly” Yong-jun when their contracts end November 30th.

The team also said that although it’s regrettable to let two such talented players go, it wished to respect the two players’ want to play in a new environment. With these two major departures, KT is expected to enter a rebuilding phase for the 2017 season, writes Fomos’ Park Sang-jin

Ssumday has been KT’s top laner since 2013 as a member of KT bullets, and Fly has been on the roster sin 2015, and the destinations of both players are still up in the air.

Likewise, ESC Ever’s AD Carry Lee “LoKeN” Dong-wook announced on his Facebook that he also has parted ways with his team on Monday, but didn’t share any detailed reasons.

“Hello, this is LoKeN Lee Dong-wook,” he wrote. “I have left the team as of today, but I had fun the entire time I was a part of the team, and will stay with me forever. I thank the head coach and teammates who have been great to me. I don’t know which team I’ll be a part of next year, but I will return in better form. Thank you everyone who have cheered for me.”

With high profile departures first from China, and now from various teams in Korea, the final destinations and line ups are becoming more and more veiled, with many more possibilities in the coming days.
