PraY addresses TSM rumors on stream

Kim “PraY” Jong-in talked briefly about this personal plans in the near, and possibly far, future.

After the news of PraY’s departure from the ROX Tigers came out, he once again had a series of streams on hi AfreecaTV channel. One of the broadcasts was mostly about setting up a Twitch streaming account. During that time, some fans questioned why he was bothering to make a Twitch account, and PraY gave a glimpse into his reasoning.

“The reason I’m setting up a Twitch streaming account is because if I become unemployed, I’ll be streaming on Twitch from now on,” he said. “I had a conversation with my father and he said, ‘if things don’t work out, take time off! Go have fun!’ so if nothing really works out, then I’ll have to make the best of it.”

It seemed like the possibility of PraY unable to find a team for the 2017 season weighed heavily on his mind, as he also briefly touched on that specific possibility.

“There’s nothing I can do about it,” he said. “I am thinking about the possibility of being unemployed. I do want to continue my career as a professional gamer, but some parts of that aren’t up to me.”

Later, as a screenshot of what appeared to be a Skype conversation between PraY and TeamSoloMid owner Andy “Reginald” Dinh made it to the front of Reddit and then Inven soon after, PraY addressed it in a separate broadcast, mainly about those claiming that PraY was offered a $500,000 deal to play for TSM.

“If that was the case, I would be crawling my way to TSM,” he said, baffled. “Seriously, that is an amount of money that would make me crawl all the way to (North America).”
