Using Liquipedia

‘Chiu on This’ is a short and regular opinion blast

This is a short guide on how to use Liquipedia for CS:GO. I decided it was useful as it’s the best site for cataloging and organizing results and VoDs. Here is a basic rundown. I’ve taken a screenshot of the recent Major Qualifiers:

Not the cleanest, but basically if you click on information about the match pops up. It shows when the match was played (or when it will be played with a countdown timer), what map and rounds split. It isn’t as fast as HLTV in updating in real time. Below that are three icons, a tv icon, a hltv icon and a stats icon. The TV icon is a direct link to the VoD so you can watch it. The HLTV icon takes you to the HLTV match page and the stats takes you to the stats page for that match.

The only other thing you need to know is this link. That is a link to the premier tournaments of the year. The guidelines are vague, so ignore the premier bit. It’s basically a list of tournaments in chronological order with prize pool, number of teams, winner and runner-up. It’s a good way to refresh yourself on recent tournaments or tournament runs in the past.

There are some other features, but these are the ones I use the most.
