Stardust joins H2k

‘Chiu on this’ is a short and regular opinion blast

H2K announced today that former StarCraft II player Stardust was hired as an assistant coach. It’s an interesting move as one reason he was added was to ease the transition for Korean players into European LCS. Stardust spent a large amount of time abroad during his SC2 career. He has natural authority over the younger Koreans and has experience in multiple ways. He’s one of the few Koreans to have already taken military service and come back as a competitive player. He learned English and was one of the few Koreans to try to create video content for an international audience.

He is also one of those players who recognized his lack of skill/talent relative to his field, but was able to use it effectively and make upset victories. He also seems to be taking this seriously as he’s already climbed up the ranks in League of Legends ladder.
