The upcoming ESL Pro League will be streamed exclusively on YouTube Gaming as the result of a partnership between YouTube and the World Esports Association, according to sources with knowledge of the decision.
Season 5 of ESL Pro League will begin on Feb. 7 and be broadcast every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the official ESL YouTube channel. The Season 5 LAN Finals will take place June 3-4 in Dallas, Texas, marking a return to North America for the first time since Season 2, according to a source.
Cloud9 will look to defend its title after posting a 25-1 online record and then beating SK Gaming — in SK’s home country — during the Season 4 grand final in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
ESL did not respond to a request for comment.
