Milwaukee Bucks co-owner announces FlyQuest

Wesley Edens, co-owner of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, announced Monday the formation of his North American League of Legends Championship Series team, FlyQuest.

“We are very excited to enter such a rapidly growing and immensely popular sport. FlyQuest intends to compete and win at the highest levels of esports and quickly become an internationally respected organization,” Edens said in a news release. “Starting with our very talented League of Legends roster, we’re beginning the process of building sustainable success. We look forward to growing our brand globally as we help expand the reach of esports.”

ESPN first reported of the team’s existence. FlyQuest’s roster is comprised of Hai “Hai” Du Lam, Daerek “LemonNation” Hart, Galen “Moon” Holgate, An “Balls” Le and Johnny “Altec” Ru. Thomas “Thinkcard” Slotkin will coach the team.

The North American LCS begins next Friday.
