DeKay: CLG adds FNS to replace hazed

North American Counter-Strike team Counter Logic Gaming has signed Pujan “FNS” Mehta to replace recently departed in-game leader James “hazed” Cobb, according to multiple sources close to the team and player. This will be FNS’ second stint as a member of CLG, as he spent the entirety of 2015 as a member of the roster.

After his first stint with CLG, FNS spent all of 2016 with Team SoloMid. The team showed promise in the summer by reaching the semifinals of the ECS Season 1 Finals, but TSM failed to play at that level ever again. Rumors swirled about conflict and issues with younger players on the team for weeks before FNS and Kory “SEMPHIS” Friesen left in December.

CLG will look to bounce back from an unimpressive end to 2016 in which it failed to qualify for the ELEAGUE major.

CLG did not respond to request for comment.
