KT Rolster’s head coach Lee Ji-hoon said that the team has much more left to do, and much more to improve on, in an interview with OSEN’s Ko Yong-jun.

“(Saturday’s) results have been good, but there are still many things that have to be improved,” he said. “Right now I think the team is at about 60 percent. We need to go further.”

KT took down BBQ Olivers on Saturday 2-0 in a much more commanding manner than in its League Champions Korea opening match against the ROX Tigers. Lee said he was quite satisfied with the result.

“I’m happy to see the team perform better than they did in the opening match (of the LCK),” he said. “The players also focused on shoring up on the mistakes they made because they thought that made many, which gave us the good results for today.”

Lee also said that KT has already met the goals they had set for their January games, but he refuses to stay content with the status quo.

“We have three games in January, and we aimed to go 2-1,” he said. “We met our goal but we won’t stay satisfied and continue to improve with training.”
