If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. bbq Olivers Ghost: “I kept saying from the car ride to the arena that I have to beat (Kramer).”

The sponsor company of the bbq Olivers gave the team a $4,400 bonus and free chicken.
The summer LCK split has been bad for the bbq Olivers, but its sponsor company has given the team a monetary bonus anyway.

The bbq Olivers beat the Afreeca Freecs 2-0 on Wednesday, and in an interview with Fomos’ Kim “Kenzi” Yong-woo, AD Carry Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun said he really wanted to beat former CJ Entus teammate Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun.

“I kept saying from the car ride to the arena that I have to beat him,” he said. “I kept saying it during the match too.”

Part of what helped Ghost defeat Kramer seemed to be part of how well he dealt with Kramer’s unexpected Lucian pick. Ghost said he was able to predict it.

“It’s a funny story actually,” he said. “Before we left for the arena, Kramer was on the opposing team in a solo queue game I played, and when I checked his match history, I noticed that he played a lot of Lucian. I thought he would play him today as well.”

And because friend chicken seems to have garnered just as much attention as anything about the team, Ghost said that the bbq Olivers will continue dining on its sponsor, Lovely BBQ.

“We ran out of coupons for chicken, but before we made it to the arena, we were sent three different types of coupons,” he said.
