Chinese Counter-Strike players Qifang “Karsa” Su and Yulun “fancy1” Cai, formerly of TyLoo, will join a new organization along with Kunhua “LOVEYY” Bai from Vici Gaming, according to multiple sources close to the players. The new organization, named Flash Gaming, is located in the Hebei Province of China and will add two additional players in the coming weeks.
Flash Gaming hopes to surpass the level of success achieved by TyLoo in 2016 and plans to relocate to North America or Europe in the second half of this year in an attempt to practice with top teams on a regular basis, according to a source. Additionally, Flash Gaming will provide its players with an ownership share of the organization, similar to organizations like Astralis, Godsent and Heroic. This is the first of its kind in the Asian region of Counter-Strike.
The fourth player on the team will sign in the coming days and be joined by the team’s manager, WeiJia “Innopy” Guo, who will act as a stand-in until the fifth and final player is signed to the organization. An official announcement is expected in the next two weeks.
Fancy1 was benched for over a month, and Karsa was dropped from the TyLoo active roster in January as a result of a conflict with the organization in regards to discussions with a separate organization. In late February, fancy1 was eventually released from his contract and has been a free agent since then.
