Faker on streaming: “Before we couldn’t communicate and it wasn’t really a fulfilling broadcast, but the streams right now are much better.”

The definition of success seems to be ever elusive whenever the best in the world talks about it.

In a video interview with Fomos, SK Telecom T1’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok shared more of his textbook disappointment in his performance, and gave a very dead-pan near term goal for himself.

“The goal right now is producing a performance that I can be happy with, since I haven’t been in this spring split,” he said.

When asked further what performance he’ll be satisfied with, Faker simply said, “I think I’ll be satisfied when I do well.”

Faker also touched on SKT’s streaming situation, as the most recent ones have come under fire again for poor presentation and neglecting the player’s sleep schedules before a match. Faker admitted to some issues, but is overall still optimistic.

“I think everyone is enjoying streaming,” he said. “Before we couldn’t communicate and it wasn’t really a fulfilling broadcast, but the streams right now are much better. It’s kind of tough right now because of some issues popping up, so I hope they get fixed so we can all enjoy streaming.”
