ECS to exclusively stream matches on YouTube

FaceIt announced Thursday the Esports Championship Series Counter-Strike league will be exclusively streamed on YouTube.

The matches will be streamed on FaceIt’s YouTube channel beginning March 25 with the promotion matches. A start date for the third season of ECS has not yet been announced.

”YouTube offers fans of the ECS an unmatched online viewing experience,” Michele Attisani, Chief Business Officer and co-founder of FACEIT, said in a news release. “YouTube is by far the most watched platform for gamers in the world and continues to innovate and lead on video technology, making it a great place for us to call it our new home for the Esports Championship Series.”

ECS is the second online league to stream its matches on YouTube, after ESL decided to do the same in January for the ESL Pro League.
