Team SoloMid will sign Overwatch streamers Calvin “Aimbotcalvin” Chau and Gale_Adelade to its streaming network, according to sources close to the organization.

The organization plans to announce the additions of Gale_Adelade, the 16-year-old “Rank 1 Ana in NA” Overwatch streamer, and 19-year-old Aimbotcalvin on Friday, according to sources. Both players have history with Counter Strike before moving almost exclusively to Overwatch, and both are high ranking players in the North American servers.

TSM’s venture into Overwatch has been mysterious. The organization initially signed a team in July but sold the team to compLexity two weeks later amid cheating allegations regarding two of the players it signed, Nicolas “NicolasTJO” Aubin and Jake “torkTJO” Lepoff. The organization would later look to enter Overwatch and apparently had identified a roster of players, but Taylor “b1aam” Forrest wrote two weeks ago that TSM’s plans would not come to fruition despite having “just closed in our final six after having trialed dozens of extremely talented players.” B1am mentioned the Overwatch League’s expensive entry fee, and said that TSM had decided to stay out of the competitive scene.

TSM did not respond to request for comment.

Adding two Overwatch streamers is interesting because it’s a way to have at least some sort of presence in Overwatch without buying a team without many events in which to play or waiting for details about Overwatch League. In recent weeks, compLexity, Red Reserve, Denial and Splyce have all released their rosters.
