Longzhu Gaming’s new mid laner Kwak “BDD” Bo-seong said he doesn’t see defeating KT Rolster as an upset.
After Longzhu’s unexpected 2-0 victory Tuesday against KT Rolster, BDD said in an interview with OSEN’s Ko Yong-jun he doesn’t find the victory as surprising as others might perceive it.
“I’m working very well with the team,” he said. “I have a good feeling for this split. I don’t think (the victory) was an upset.”
BDD is a recognizable face for League Champions Korea viewers, as he was most recently a member of CJ Entus. He joined CJ Entus in April 2015 but was unable to see any playing time during the first half of the spring split because he was below Riot Games’ age limit. He played with the team through last summer split, when CJ Entus was relegated from the LCK.
After leaving CJ, BDD took a split off while promoting his own personal brand and his mother’s restaurant through social media.
BDD showed a commanding performance Tuesday against KT Rolster’s Heo “Pawn” Won-seok as Orianna, and he played a large role in his team’s victory over the “super team” of the LCK.
