Bang on Faker’s missed Elder Dragon attempt: “He’s getting old.”

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and Bae “Bang” Jun-sik took playful jabs at one another after SK Telecom T1’s latest League Champions Korea win.

After SKT’s 2-0 win against the ROX Tigers on Thursday, Bang and Faker were invited to the post-match interview with OGN casters Lee “CloudTemplar” Hyun-woo and Kim “Dangun” Ui-joong, where the pair addressed one of Faker’s first attempts to start the Elder Dragon that didn’t really go as planned.

“I feel like I would have gotten it if my fingers were faster,” Faker said, to which Bang quickly quipped: “He’s getting old.”

It was also a momentous match as it was Bang’s 300th career match. Although he confessed that he wasn’t aware of the occasion, when asked what moment he thought of when he realized it, Bang said he remembered his debut with Najin Black Sword during the IGN Pro League in Las Vegas.

In Game 2, ROX took Blitzcrank in a way to disrupt and displace members of SKT, and it was marginally successful in that regard. A standout moment is when Bang was across the Baron pit wall while his team was getting Baron and seemingly got hooked on purpose.

“I was flustered once around Baron when we were getting Baron, and I thought I had the Quicksilver Sash active up so I wanted to use it and flash to get the aggro out, but I had already used it,” he said.

Faker immediately jumped on the opportunity to say: “your moving mechanics were about Master Tier here.”
