If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Dennis and olofmeister reportedly set to leave Fnatic

Fnatic will reportedly replace dennis and olofmeister.
Fnatic will reportedly replace dennis and olofmeister.

Fnatic will look to replace Counter-Strike players Dennis “dennis” Edman and Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, according to a report by Flickshot. The top targets for their replacement are Fnatic Academy’s Maikil “Golden” Selim, and Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson from Godsent.

Adding Golden would be the easier transaction seeing as how he’s already part of the Fnatic organization. As for the second vacancy, Fnatic has approached Godsent and proposed a trade of Lekr0 for dennis, according to the report. Lekr0 played for Fnatic briefly last year before being sent to Godsent in exchange for Freddy “KRiMZ” Johansson in October.

Fnatic’s legendary CS:GO roster — considered one of the all-time greatest — appears to be on its last breaths. The team shuffled last August, with KRiMZ, Jesper “JW” Wecksell and Robin “flusha” Ronnquist moving to Godsent last August. But the team that won six consecutive LAN events in late 2015 and early 2016 reformed this winter after the ELEAGUE Major in January.

But the results were not what the team expected. The group never won an event after reforming, with its best finish of second place at DreamHack Summer. Fnatic failed to make the playoffs at ESL One Cologne but regrouped to earn a legend status at the PGL Krakow Major at the end of last month before falling in the quarterfinal round.
