Gambit Esports completed its Counter-Strike roster with Tuesday’s announcement it had purchased Bektiyar “fitch” Bakhytov’s contract from Tengri to replace Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko. He will undergo a three month trial with the team.
Zeus left Gambit last week to rejoin his former teammates in Natus Vincere. The move stunned many as it came only a few weeks after Gambit won the PGL Krakow Major. Instead of a prolonged celebration, Zeus and coach Mykhailo “Kane” Blagin were gone in a matter of weeks.
Fitch will join his former teammate Abay “HObbit” Khasenov on Gambit. HObbit was recently acquired full time from Tengri for a $100,000 buyout after playing with Gambit on loan since October.
Gambit’s CS:GO roster consists of fitch, HObbit, Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov, Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev, and Rustem “mou” Telepov.
