Buffs to Ezreal and Zed and nerfs to Draven highlight the champion balance changes in League of Legends Patch 7.17, which goes live Wednesday.
Draven’s passive was nerfed. He will lose 75 percent of his League of Draven stacks upon his death instead of the previous 50, and his base gold income when he kills an enemy will be reduced from 50 gold to 25.
Ezreal’s Q was buffed. His Q now has a higher attack damage ratio of 1.25.
Urgot’s ultimate was buffed. The duration of the slow applied onto the target of his ultimate, and the window of reactivation, has increased to four seconds for both.
Hecarim received changes to his E and ultimate. His E will no longer tick down when he is using his ultimate, and his ultimate applies the fear status in enemies scaling from 0.75 seconds to 1.5, based on how far he travels with his ultimate.
Zed received a number of buffs. His base attack speed was increased to 0.651, and his shadows will remain on the field for five seconds instead of 4.5.
Leona’s passive and Q were changed. Her passive, which is applied to enemies hit by her abilities and consumed to deal more damage when allies attack marked enemies, lasts 1.5 seconds instead of 3.5. Her Q now has a fixed cooldown time of six seconds at all ranks.
Maokai received a passive tweak. He will no longer be able to proc his passive on wards, which means he’ll have to do with minions, monsters, or enemy champions.
League of Legends Patch 7.17 will also feature the new star guardian skin set, a brief return of the Hunt of the Blood Moon game mode, the release of the newest champion, Ornn, and a new Preferred Item Slots feature.
